After announcing the possible prices of the Samsung Galaxy A52 And Samsung Galaxy A72 some time ago, the TechnikNews portal has now discovered more interesting details. According to the report, Samsung is making the Galaxy A52 even cheaper than previously thought. It is claimed that the successor to the mid-range blockbuster will be available for the following amounts:
- Samsung Galaxy A52 (128 GB): 349 euros
- Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (128 GB): 449 euros
If this information is correct, the Galaxy A52 in the 4G version would still be 20 euros cheaper than the previously assumed 369 euros. Samsung appears to want to continue lowering its mid-range devices’ entry-level prices to challenge low-cost competitors such as Xiaomi in this highly competitive segment.
The market launch of the mid-range smartphones of Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 is currently still a long way off. Now new information has emerged which provides information on possible pricing for the Samsung Galaxy A51 And Samsung Galaxy A71.
While the Galaxy A42 5G has been available on the market for a few months for an introductory price of 279 euros, there is no trace of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, admittedly a little better equipped. As reported by the Dutch website GalaxyClub, some retailers’ prices for the European market have appeared on the idealo.de price comparison portal. The good news: If the information is correct, popular cell phones won’t be expensive. Samsung does not appear to have increased its prices compared to previous models. This at least applies to variants without 5G.
Samsung Galaxy A52 And Samsung Galaxy A72: pleasantly cheap?
Although dealer entries on idealo.de disappeared from the listings again, GalaxyClub was still able to hold bookings. According to the portal, the Samsung Galaxy A52 could start in the 4G version with 128 GB of internal storage at 369 euros, while the 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy A72 with the same storage would cost 449 euros. The successor to the SamsungGalaxy A51 would be at the same price, the Samsung Galaxy A72 even 24.15 USD cheaper than its predecessor.
If you want a smartphone midrange 5G compatible, you’ll probably have to dig a little deeper in your pocket: the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (128GB) apparently starts at $ 449. If the storage doubles, the sum rises to 509 euros. The Dutch side could not present the prices for a 5G compatible Samsung Galaxy A72.
When will the new mid-range smartphones come?
There is no official date for the market launch of the Galaxy A models. As we reported, the Samsung Galaxy A52 has now gone through more certification bodies. An exit could therefore be imminent. A realistic window would therefore be February 2021. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will actually market the devices this month and at the supposed prices. Taking the past as an indicator, it’s at least likely that the South Korean company will announce both devices simultaneously.
