Yael Shelbia Named World’s Most Beautiful Faces Of 2020
Yael Shelbia, a 19-year-old Israeli model and actress, was named the Most Beautiful Face in the World of 2020. She was awarded the prestigious title of Writer and Content Creator TC Candler, which manages the list of 100 Most Beautiful Faces since 1990.
Born in Nahariya, Yael Shelbia has already been on the list several times. She made her debut in 2017 in 14th place, before moving up to 3rd place in 2018 and clinching 2nd place the following year. But in 2020, she came out on top, even beating Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), who came in 21st. Second place went to Thai rapper Lisa (Lalisa Manoban), while third place went to Australian model Meika Woollard.
Shelbia, who is currently performing his compulsory military service for the Israeli Air Force, thanked TC Candler for the honor in a publication on social media. “I appreciate it with all my heart !! She writes.
“I’ve never finished first in anything… it’s super cool,” Shelbia told the Israeli news channel Channel 12. The star also explained that the Air Force allowed her to attend meetings and to do modeling work in Los Angeles.
The ranking of the 100 most beautiful faces of the year stands out from most other annual beauty rankings because it is not a popularity contest and is not specific to any country. Indeed, more than 40 countries are regularly represented.
The ranking is put together by a diverse group of around 20 people worldwide, organized by TC Candler, who sift through suggestions submitted by the public to build the list. Besides aesthetic perfection, the criteria include grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, and hope.
“It’s not about the sexiest body or the most celebrity,” TC Chandler said. “Rather, the list attempts to inform and broaden public opinion rather than reflect it. There you will find superstars and new stars, global sensations, and even strangers. ”
YouTuber PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) topped the men’s list for the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2020, beating Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, who came in third, and South Korean singer V (Kim Tae-Hyung ), who came second.
