Cloris Leachman dies at 94

In California, the actress Cloris Leachman, the winner of the Oscar and the Emmy Award, has passed away. She was familiar to the audience with her role as Phyllis Lindstrom in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The actress was 94 years old.

The insane and self-centered Phyllis – a character that Cloris Leachman claimed was close to her image – brought the actress two Emmy Awards and made her a household name. Lichman also won an Oscar for her supporting role in Peter Bogdanovich’s The Last Screening. The actress has received nine Emmy, Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA awards during her career.
Leachman’s career began in 1955, with the filming of Kiss Me Death, and continued until recently: the actress starred in the films All or Nothing (2005), Scary Movie -4″ (2006). In the anthology New York, I Love You (2008), she appeared in an older woman trying to support her even older husband ( Eli Wallach ).
In 2011 and 2012, Leachman appeared on the screens in a large number of films, including the detective “Fields,” the comedy “Gambit,” the horror movie “Home,” the action movie “The Bonnie and Clyde Story” and others.
