Grammy Nominations 2021: During a tough time for humanity, there is something that comforts the soul, and that is music, which is why the Grammy Nominations 2021 nominees resonated more than ever with the fans of the aforementioned artists.
This year, the first mention of Harry Styles and BTS stands out, and the nine categories in which Beyoncé appears among some of the surprises that we will review below.
BTS
BTS earned their first career Grammy nomination thanks to their huge success of “Dynamite,” making K-pop history by being named Best Pop Duo / Group, competing against Dua’s “Un Día (One Day).” Lipa, Tainy, Bad Bunny and J Balvin, “Intentions” by Justin Bieber with Quavo, and “Rain On Me” by Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande.
Beyoncé
Beyoncé earned song and record of the year nominations for “Black Parade.” The interpreter is the one with the most Grammy Nominations 2021, with nine mentions at the awards. Although she did not release her own album as such, she did release one of the best works of her entire career: the work she did with ” Black Is King ”as audiovisual material.
Harry Styles
Harry Styles becomes the second former One Direction member to be nominated for a Grammy, appearing in three categories, in two of the most important. The Brit is competing for Best Music Video with “Adore You” against Beyoncé, Future, Drake, Anderson. Paak and Woodkick.

Best Rock Performance is led solely by women!
A great feat for music this year with Phoebe Bridgers’ “Kyoto,” Fiona Apple’s “Shameika,” Big Thief’s “Not,” HAIM’s “The Steps,” “Stay High ”by Brittany Howard, and“ Daylight ”by Grace Potter.
The Weeknd
Although The Weeknd has had great success with “Blinding Lights” and recently swept the American Music Awards, it did not garner a single nomination at the Grammy Nominations 2021, causing disgust among fans to see that their favorite artist was ignored by the awards with his album “After Hours.”
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion was nominated for Best New Artist, and some wondered why the interpreter is mentioned in this way since her career began to ascend in 2019. It is probably because this 2020, she made a lot of noise with “Savage” ft. Beyoncé, a song that also appears among Record of the Year.
Kanye West
Kanye West has been one of the most nominated throughout the history of the Grammys. However, this time he appeared only once and did so on Best Contemporary Christian Music Album with “Jesus Is King.”
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has had a triumphant return to music after his long hiatus from the stage, and the sample is the acceptance that his album “Changes” has had, nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. Despite the recognition, the Canadian was not entirely happy with this mention, saying that his work deserved to be recognized on the R&B list on Instagram.
Billie Eilish
Unlike the previous installment in which Billie Eilish swept the awards, this time, it appears many fewer times because it has not released a new album. Her single “Everything I Wanted” is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Performance.
